Ok so what i want to do is take the center console from a 03` cavalier and put it in my 95`. Does anybody know if it will just bolt in with no problems or any mod. I want to put the newer console in because it has more cup holders and just all around nicer i think.
yea it should just bolt right up. i don think they really changed anything with regards to where it bolts up. just make sure that if it has power windows, that the plugs are the same in the switches.

i thought you had to swap the mounting brackets aswell?
Yeah, the bolts don't all line up so it's not as simple as just taking one out and putting the other in. That said, it's easy enough to fab up the brackets you'll need to do this. It's been done many times.
The HVAC and Radio are swapped top/bottom in the 2003+ and 2002 prior Cavaliers. I confirmed this, but just do a google image search if you want to be sure.

yeah i don't have the electric windows or anything but i do have two switches for my neons that wont be a problem. I'll just go ahead and buy the console and see how it goes and what i can do. thanks everyone. keep em comin.
yup the bolts don't line up. if you leave the brackets the way they are, your center console will be slightly cockeyed and the middle bolt will be no where near where it should be to fit.

um lol i guess im special then hahahaha mine lined up perfect? i swapped out my 96 z's console for a 2001 console
