Depends on if you know what you're doing and how long it takes YOU to make it acceptable to your liking. Keep in mind of the steps it takes: taking it apart, preparing, painting, drying, and then putting it back together carefully. Besides, you can still drive around without the interior--I've done it.

like he said depends on how good of a job you want done. i have put in over 40 hours into my interior and its still not done i have a couple of pieces left to prime, sand wet sand, and paint yet, it all depends what your lookin for.
Well it depends on how much of the interior you plan on painting. How you are going
to paint it. You can leave it textured, you can sand the hell out of it, or even fiberglass.
If you are really careful and get it right the first time it shouldnt take long. And a lot of people do drive their cars without some interior pieces... Ive done it. Painting takes skill and patience.
heres an idea...... start with the glove box cover.... take it off, you probably won't miss it too much for the time being, and its an easily replacebale part,
test out whatever you want to do, and compare that , to how big the other interior pieces are, and that will give you the best estimate for YOUR time...........

take off ur door panels and do those, u dont really need them when driving lol. i drove without them for like 2 weeks, till i finished. and yeah start wit smaller parts first, dont plan on takin off ur dashboard if u dont have time, cs u wont have it off, painted, and back on in a while.

I have my glove box cover, back seat panels, rear seats, center console and other little stuff out of my car and i drive it like that - i was gonna just paint the pieces with the texture but i think im gunna do it with filler primer and so i do my research and my interior has been partly out for about 2 months.

took me bout 2 hours a door panel doing two colors. includes primer taping everything off, paint and clear coat. bout 30 mins each for the back panels. working on the dash next week. for the most part ur door panels will be the hardest if u have to tape off cause the dash is basically one piece.
Heh... I'm driving around the red 'vert with no interior at all.... no carpet, just a driver's seat.. no dash.. no door panels... no rear quarter panels... just the metal under-dash bracing (for now.. it comes out next!) with the gauges zip-tied to it.. and the HVAC too...
