K, so i had a neon orange piece of paper on my seat.....and on top of it i sat a Rain-X window wipe.....i guess it soaked through and stuff...

today i notice there is a big green stain that looks like highliter.......i dont think it chemically ruined the leather because i took some hand cleaner stuff i have at work and it started going onto the paper towel...but it started turning the leather a lighter color.......

i know its a rare case so its been hard to look up info on it.....u guys have any idea ? sounds like the problem is the rain-x, paper and the fact it was in the sun all day at +30C

Maybe the cleaner you used took some of the oils out of the leather which is why it got lighter? Maybe try using a leather conditioner and see if that brings the color back? Just an idea...

^^^ agree i had a similar prob in my old GTi so your best bet would be to try that

u had a similar problem with the paper ? or the leather lightening?

Any ideas on gettin the stain out ? or just keep usin the stuff i was using even though it seems to be messing up the leather.....then try a reconditioning wipe ?
