Hey guys, I had my car detailed yesterday and it looked brand-new. I was very impressed on the cleaning of the carpeting and engine. But, right now, it still feels damp on the inside on the car, mainly in the carpet. How do i get rid of the moisture? I was taking to the guy and he said just to keep the windows crack alittle, and let the heat dry it out. Any help would be appreciated.

Just do what the "guy" told you to do,unless you want to stand there with a blow dryer for a few hour's. It shouldn't take longer than a day to be completly dry.
yeah thats normal man i work at a body shop and sometimes we send cars out to get detailed after, the carpet should only be a little wet for like a day or 2, but leave the windows cracked.
Moms & Dads talk to your kids, before its too late, tell them to say no to aluminum wings.
Leaving the doors open is the best way, and hang floor mats out if you have them. BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DON'T LEAVE EVERYTHIGN SHUT!!!!. I work at a detailing store, and I've worked with used cars, and if you leave everything closed up, it will mold and rot, and the stink will never really leave, and it's not a mild stink. I've seen too many cars ruined like that.
Yeah, I had dampness under my car...left it in the sun for a few days, sunroof off, windows down, and it was dry like it never was wet!
leave the windows cracked and crank your heat on the floor setting
im a professional detailer... it works day in and day out
