how to remove center console in 02 Cavalier?
Thursday, August 25, 2005 1:11 PM
First off, I did a search and I found nothing. I cannot figure out how to get the center console out of my 02 Cavalier, and any help would be great, it is the last piece that needs to be painted.

Thanks in advance,
-Paul

4 bolts.

1 in the foward map tray.

1 Just under center switch pop out piece.

2 inside the Main holder section, all the way at the bottom.

Remove shift knob, and pull ebrake up. Tilt back of console up, then pull front up to clear everything else.

If it wont get passed the shifter, like on mine, Put the car in drive, and keep foot on brake, then pull console up.

Dont forget to put car back in park.

easy stuff. whenever u need to take something out and don't know how, try looking around it and see if there are any screws or anything holding. It helps a lot!
