Now, im trying to get at the turn signal switch, and im guessing its under the steering column cover, i popped off the top of it, aka, between the steering wheel and the guages..........., and there are 3 7mm bolts on the bottom of the vcover, but im at a loss on how to remove the bottom part of the cover...........after you remove the 3 bolts, its still stuuck on there with the ignition and the steering wheel adjustment, how do i get at the turn signal switch? and where is it? i have a good ass idea, i just want some back up

Take off the tilt lever. Mine unscrewed pretty easily, but others on this board say they had to use pliers (with a cloth between to avoid scratches). Then the bottom will come off.

As to where the turn signal switch is it is the big lever you use to turn on... You guessed it, the turn signal. There are two or three bolts holding it in, just take them out and swap switches or do whatever you're doing.

One word of advice though, take out your horn fuse when removing those switches. I scared the crap out of myself when my wrench hit the horn contact on accident.
