sanding problems

ok so i've been sanding this crap forever, and its still really really rough and no even in some spots. trying to get this back on the car already since its been off for like 2 weeks. does anybody have any suggestions on getting it smoothhhh.

oh yeah maybe putting what i was talking about in this might have helped out a bit, sorry its been a long day. anyway im working on some interior pieces.

I sanded my interior parts using 60 grit sandpaper to get out the grooves and design. Then I went up to 100 and resanded everything. Then I went to 220 and did it again. Came out awesome.

just dont use 60 its a little much in my opinion. im goin from 80-220 then im priming and sanding again with 320

im not painting the actual latch the plactic thing that goes around it, sorry i havent been to clear today.

ha my interior has been out off my car for 2 1/3 yeras..... fiberglassing is the most time consuming thing ever! do you have any pic of your finished pieces?

im not finished yet i just started 5 weeks ago and just now got done with 120 grit
now i go to 220 and then prime and sand with 320 then paint 320 paint 320 paint 320 clear 320 clear.

just go and buy some parts from the scrapyard and sand and paint them...than you dont have to have your car ripped appart forever.

u can pull that piece off without taking off the rear deck. u should be able to sand that thing down in a few hours. what grit are you using? i use around 80 grit.
