Sand it, perferably by hand, that way you wont sand to much and go through.

hand sanding will take a while, i'd suggest a mouse sander.

No, No, No, Me and my friend did this on his Eclipse....If you want it to be really smooth like fiberglass you have to get a real fine grit sandpaper and sand it until all those stupid little wrinkles are off and then get an even more finer grit sandpaper and wet sand it until it's perfectly smooth....don't use any power sander or anything like that just use a piece of sand paper at a time......I wish i had pics for the results but i don't ......sorry

NEW SIG COMING SOON FOR 07'!!!

thanks brian, but i'll stick to my mouse sander, i'll be done in 1/4 the time and end up with just as good results. have fun my friend.

ok this is basically on the subject, but a lil off
anyway, i'm going to paint my dash and stuff, but i think i'm gonna keep the texture, does anyone know if this will look alright? or should i just suck it up and do the sanding and smooth it all out

if u want the texture, just dont sand it off. just clean it and paint it. not everyone likes the smooth look.
