i cant give u any pics right now..but a couple of my friends have there top dash tweeded..one of them is going to do mine soon with his leftovers..if i get it done..ill show u pics.
yea mine is done in black and red tweed, looks hot. i will hunt for a pic but i doubt i have one. If you have a sunfire it is freaken hard core to get the tweed to lay right on all the dang curves. If you have a cavi it should be damn easy to do. I would recomend going to home depot or lows and picking up a couple of cans of 3m super 90 adhesive. definatly for the dash, and dont pull it tight or it will come up from heat and tension, i learned this the hard way, i just got done tweeding my armrest and the door area with tweed, once you do it a couple of times you will get more comfortable doing it. If you have any more questions ask man, i should be able to help you out.
here is one you can kinda see the tweed on the dash

Tweed is actualyl a very good fabric to try your first time at wrapping something. It is very stretchy and allows you to work with it around alot of corners. I don't have any pictures but here is a picture of a girl on .orgs car I know. Its one of the best tweed examples I know of. her name is Sami Stumbo.

ohh that looks hawt the ideas i have for the way of doing my interior just got fliped.
Can you dye tweed with fabric dye or wil it affect the stretchyness(I don't think that is a word....) of the fabric?
it may, after you die the fabric i believe you have to wash it a few times, tweed is kind of stiff so i dont know how much it will be affected.
How hard is it to do this? just spray on the adhesive and lay down the tweed/suede? where can i get some fabric cheap online?
Sorry for all the questions...

Riki Knight,
Tweed is extremely easy to work with. Next to carbon fiber thats the easiest material I have to work with. When wrapping a piece I suggest laying it over the peice first then cutting everything around an inch larger or more on each side to give you room to play with. Do not spray all the adhesive once. Start in a corner and work your way over an area, spraying adhesive to an area at a time then laying the tweed. Once everything is laid down, begin stretching and wrapping your edges. I've found that hot glue works well to hold things in place, though prepare to burn your fingertips a little bit.
