Ok heres the deal.. Ive been through all the post and know everything about putting white faced gauges in except for the part about getting it over the stupid know know on the needle.. Its an 01 and i know you cant remove the needles so how is this supposed to be done.. the gaiges are from apc... Any insight would be greatly appriecated....
i tried it like that but it doesnt seem like the holes are big enough.. should i take a razor blade and make the holes a lil bigger.. Also if i just lay the white face over the black face will it still show through as bright on the numbers.. Also here is another ? i put a white hvac face on last night and now my lights behind it dont work... I did touch the bulbs by mistake would that have a efect on it....
Somebody give me some insight.. ive tried to pull it of the needles but it just wont go
just try towork them around the needl;es i would on'y do the razorbladein for a last resort . its called an 'Over Lay ' because it lays over the cluster u have on there now , the only thing u should see from your old cluster are the needles and the odometer the light won't shine thru and it doesn't matter that u touched the bulbs unless u had a 1/4 inch layer of clay or tar when u touched em lol if i didn't help much try postin a pic so maby i understand ur question better

its fits trust me. it seems hard but once you get them over the needles, thats the hard part. once you get part over the cirlce at the bottom, just push around the outside and it will go over it.
thanks guys that helps. Im goinf to try to put the gauge face back in here a in the next week or so.. as for the hvac i think i have a short in the lights because now they are on and if they dont come on with the headlights all i have to do is turn the blower control knob all the way up and then back and they will come on.....
point the first needle up and get the overlay BARLEY over it just to hold it in place, then move to the next one and just enough to hold it and so on.....
unplug the pod first and the gauges will be loose..
the gauge face WILL fit over the holes..
its a tight fit but it almost "clicks" right into place~
i appreciate your in put guys... This is the sight ive ever found for helpin me out on my car.. Thanks guys!!!!
