Just curious to know whether or not anyone knows how to take the mirror off the visor? I tried but don't want to break it. I re-colored my headliner from tan to black and want my visors to match, and ideas? Also, is there a tutorial or how-to for fiberglassing the headliner? I have never fiberglassed before and think it would probably look better than the stock material. Anyone got any pics of a glassed headliner? Sorry this is so long, but thanks. Jay

well, the mirror has a clip at each corner, so it's kinda hard to get out without breaking a clip. if you're dying the visors, just mask it. If you're recovering, you can probably just glue it back in if you break a clip.
or you could just paint it with the mirror on it, since i'd assume you'd want it to match the headliner and visor. i just did it with my visors. used a duplicolor dye.
as for the headliner have u searched, its been asked a few times and i know a couple of the posts had good info on it since ive done it. if you cant find the info anywhere let me know and i'll try and write something up again, as for pictures i can only get a primer pic of the headliner since i lost all my pics on my hardrive last month (talking about pissing me off)

I searched the interior forum, only glass threads are dash and rear deck, and someone's gauges in the center console. I really think whenever someone writes up a how-to they should put it somewhere for people to find months down the road, IMO. Thanks, Jay

the steps and procedures and how to support the headliner as to make it so it doesnt bend and/or shrink has been discussed many times now...a simple search should bring it up
heres the first of many that i came up with by searching for "glassing headliner"
