OK, i wont tell u the story, but i busted my mirror.
Can i fix this myself, or should i go to GM and get a new one/tell them to fix it.
I tried my hardest to just get them all to fit back together, but from my guess.....the plastic inside that metal cylinder goes on first....then the 2 balls are put into the metal tube. So i dont think i can just force it in....i dunooo, thats why im askin. I just figure if i keep messin with it, ill break it.
go to the nearest junkyard. u will find one there
maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow....... but some day
well if it's not broken put it back together... i can't really tell with this picture if it's actualy broken.. if it is... like stock gt said.. just go get one at a wreckin yard... they'l charge you like 10$... dealer will charge you like 50$ for a new one
If you need a new one I have one. Give me an email.
if your thinking about getting a new one anyway try and fix the one you have now and if it breaks more then buy the other one anyway.
Go to a junkyard. I got one from a 96' S-10.....for free

go to any wrecker on springfield or day street. they've got tons of them, probably cheap too
just out of curiosity how do rear views that have that autotint and lights incorperated work i'm assuming they have some kind of battery that powers the LED or light bulbs...but wouldnt that eventually need to be replaced? guess i could take my wifes park avenue apart...but i figure somoene knows on here.
just out of the picture is the harness plug-in that supplies power. I think its only cars with sunroofs that have maplights, since they're wires run there up anyyways.
ahh makes sense i've just always seen rear views attached to the glass with no cords coming out guess i need to be more observant huh?
