I have finally put together the prototype - it will look even cooler once I get the CF part of it in. I should have a final product ready for sale by the end of the month. Product consists of carbon fiber face mounted on the same thick, black plastic as my CF bumper emblems. Icons are printed in silver foil on clear vinyl - carbon fiber shows through great. This is not a cheap computer print - the icons are heat transferred and will not wear off or fade. Please disregard the rough appearance in the photo below- actual product will be nice and smooth when applied to the carbon fiber.
This will be the perfect compliment to your CF radio face, shifter panel, etc. I have made myself a set of CF engine caps and the CF shows through the clear vinyl very nicely (and gains the UV protection!)
Face pops in right over your existing one and stays put due to the thickness. When you are ready to see your HVAC lights again, simply pull off 2 knobs, pull it out, and wait until daylight!
Having a CF face no longer means sacrificing your icons or lights! Email me with any questions!
Also coming this month: Throw away those eBay gauge bezels that don't fit and partially cover your tick marks...I have completely redesigned the Cavalier bezels so that it will actually work, shows no bezel around the turn signal indicators, and is available in genuine CF or any other color you could ever want!

The radio face is just a prototype - I am not 100% happy with it yet. Got a new one coming soon and I'll take new pics when I put it in. Takes a lot of tries when you are dealing with so many buttons, etc.
I should have a 95-02 prototype HVAC soon since I found the file.

to me it doesnt matter,snow flake or A/C, which ever is easier. i think the snow flake looks kinda cool though!!!!

lol i never have been able to get in on these because i have a different HVAC panel than any of you... i dont have an AC button.. the only button on mine is on the bottom and is a rear defrost button ( my Z24 didnt come stock with AC - within the first 6 months of production on 1996 the z24 didnt come with AC.. then they started putting AC in the cars... mines of of the first 6 months lol)
I'm willing to make a custom one with no AC button - let me know, I'm flexible.
