im trying to install the b&m shifter on my 04 cavalier. is it pretty easy to do. how do u get the center console out of the damn car. i couldnt get it over the e-brake?
did you pull the e brake up? that usually needs to be done to get the console out

Every time I've pulled the console in my 01 Cav I had to slid both front seats back as far as they would go & pull the E-brake up.
Also make sure you pull all 4 bolts holding the console down. they are:
- 2 in the storage area under the arm rest
- 1 under the power window switches or change cup
- 1 under a cover in the storage bin at the front of the console
After that you just lift the console out
