ok i have already painted the front dash cover red and now i painted the little this like the vent covers for the defrost now there is one more thing i want to paint but i cant get it out without tearing things up the passenger heater vent near the window has a plastic mold around it and i want to paint just that so that it looks like there is red trim around the vent and then the rest around that is still stock colored like a dark coal color how do i take the vent out and get to just the molding around it if any one has any clue as to what im talking about let me know what i can do thanks

well take the vinyl top off and push on the plastic part that u need out, it should pop out, dont be mad at me if it breaks tho, it came right out for me.

Or you could just tape it off and paint it.
