hey guys. Looks like the factory alarm module(door chime box) is draining my battery. wanted to pick one up at a junk yard but after doing alittle research im not sure itll work. I have a 95z and according to everything i read 96 and up is different. One year they put this box under the dash on the driver side..another year its WAY up under the dash on the passenger side. anyone know the differences between these boxes? mine doesnt even say delco..it says "emerson electronics" purple box, connects where the horn relay and blinker go under the driver side dash

emerson is an electronic manufacturer they do make a bunch of stuff for gm not as much as delco but they are a stock thing
