Hey guys, I went to the yard today and saw a z24 interior and a vinyl white interior, looking for thought on how rare and worth the money would they be. The z24 set was in 8/10 condition and the white vinyl I would say 6-7/10. How much are they in the market? Thank you.
first thing you need to know is rare and j-body should never be used in the same sentence.
the white is "less circulated" if you will, lol. but you can pull it, clean it, and try to sell it but you'd pry only get maybe $200 shipped for all of it, honestly.
the z24 stuff up to you if you need it but its not even close to scarce. you could sell all of it for maybe $150 shipped.

Z yaa thank you for helping me, and correcting me. So they are a little difficult but not impossible.
pull the white seats, s10 guys love those, but only the fronts of coarse
Brad I would for sure call that white interior rare. Worth pulling if you get it for a good price.

yeah but brad has to say the opposite of that everyone says
white vynil interior and the teal interior are the rarest of cars the red interior was more common then people think.
would love to know brads definintion of rare thats for sure considering how many j bodys made that had those interiors i would say rare

rare/re(ə
r/
Adjective:
(of an event, situation, or condition) Not occurring very often.
comparatively speaking in the J body demographic, not car parts as a whole duh. Brad is right. Total production minus, units made into convertibles, minus the one with white interior. Call it "less common" if people dont like to use "rare". Everytime someone talks about this this definition of rare pissing match starts geez.
lol @ smiley in the definition
Well it seems the Jbody will never be "RARE" (even if there was only 1 left in the world) because even the owners/enthusiats dont think much about the jbody....heck so why do so many people here spend thousands of dollars on a car they consider junk???
Its mind boggling!!!!!!!!
GMR has got nothing on this

j-body's are not rare.
I have seen more yenko Nova's than I have any of the special colors in a J interior.

My 91 vert has a white interior, white top, white paint.
On the inside my car looks like a fighter jet.

i have seen one of those in stratford ontario
its was a teal 2 door coupe. if thats a stock vert i would only assume they didn't make many of those things we all know why that would be
maybe lenko knows what the RPO code was for that interior and how many cars got it

Maybe.. but just because I'm such a J-body geek.
The white vinyl interior RPO codes start with "10"
10I - INTERIOR TRIM- ARCTIC WHITE
10N - TRIM COMBINATION VINYL, ARCTIC WHITE (N) (93)
As for how many cars got it, I'd have to do some more digging on the Compnine site. I can't get the breakdowns as easily as I used to, since the Compnine site changed so much... hard to get stats out of it now. I do have some though...
I know there were 901 Cavalier LS convertibles in the 1995 model year (total), and 148 of those had white interiors. 655 had light gray, 41 neutral and 57 graphite. So white interiors on 95 Cavalier convertibles were actually the second most common interior, but only 16% of them had it. It's all in how you count them I guess. And there were 750 Sunfire convertibles in the 1995 model year (total), 155 of those had white, 40 had red, 22 had aqua, 41 neutral, and 492 graphite. Again, white is the second most common yet only makes up 21%.
The only other number I have readily available is the 2000 Cavalier Z24 convertible... and that's because I have one. Only 174 out of a total 4,761 had the white interior. That's only 3.7%. The others were neutral (558 or 11.7
, pewter (615 or 12.9
and graphite (3414 or 71.7
.
Interior RPO codes are 10* for white, 44* for aqua, 70* for the red, 52* neutral, 12* for graphite, 14* for light gray
lol, let brad nutsucking begin.
white vinyl wasn't even rare in a jbody. and that was the last hope it had.
pending years cause 00 its rare but 95 is not but lets let brad have half of it
