do they all look the same from 95-05? and are they all a direct swap to sunfire? mine is a 97 and iv been thinking of swapping to a cavalier cluster. just want to see what my options are

They are not all the same. 00+ you can swap from one to another no problem, but pre-99 cav and fire are different. To put a cav cluster into a fire dash you will have to do some cutting of the dash to make it fit, and also you will need a cluster from the same year set, I.e. digi tach or not. Also to swap from one to the other you will have to cut and swap the harness that goes into the cluster, which i believe is about 20 wires.

Or just repin..... The pins come out once the hold down. Is removed. Use a precision screwdriver to push the lock tab in.

98-99 have a digital odometer apparently some 98 had the older style i have never seen this on a 98 but there are a pile of people who have this

best to get one for the year of your car and the dash needs to be modified where the to large pins stick through
