00-05 cluster bulb quick question
Monday, November 29, 2010 7:14 PM
I have 2 scrap clusters that need odometer light bulbs, though I know there hard to fix without them breaking, I thought I'd give it a try anyways since I don't need them.

I know the bulb # is PC74, but i found these jsut as 74 and they look similar.

Can I get on opinion on if these look like the correct bulbs? Thanks alot.

The bulbs on the 00-05 cluster are soldered in place... those don't look like the right ones.

Those are the ones for the HVAC... which can be pulled out of the sockets. Not soldered in...

Those are the correct ones to replace the PC74 bulbs in that base. I found the whole unit, bulb and base at Carquest for 6 bux. I still have not found a part number for the smaller bulbs but have repaired several with Radio Shack 12 volt bulbs. You may have to solder that bulb to the contacts on the base.
