There is a momo steering wheel hub on a cavalier in the junkyard.
Would I be able to take it off without messing it up?
Is there anything else I should watch out for when getting this?

You should be able to just unscrew the nut that is holding it on. Depending on how long it's been on there you may have some trouble pulling it out of the splines but they generally come off with little to no effort after you unscrew the main nut that is holding it on.
