after market e-brake handle

Hey. Anyone have an AM e-brake handle? Was it easy to install onto the e-brake (other than taking it off... I know that's a pain). Pics? Thanks!

One way to take it off... cut it. Dremel/Air Cut Off tool. The only thing I am not sure about is the shape of the bar under the stock handle. Most of these aftermarket handles are round. There will probably be some set screws with an allen wrench to hold on the new handle.

I figured that it was shaped funny. My main concern is the lock button. Hoping I won't mess it up with an AM handle.

Looking at my interior I may tackle this as well. This stock handle sticks out like a sore thumb. The question is who will get to this project first?

wasn't trying to be a first. Matter of fact, was actually looking for somebody who had actually done it already.

Sorry if it came out that way, I know it can be done i've seen it done that looks like Big Poppa's car from back in the day. I could be wrong, I meant first to get to it on this post. I have too many projects going on at the moment however tomorrow when I re-assemble the interior I may go ahead and take it off that way when the new one comes in I can install it.

And from the pics, it looks like it will fit almost perfect on the shaft. And also looks like the boot will fit right on it where the ring goes.

Hmmmm...cutting the e-brake handle???? I've taken two of them out with a hair dryer and some elbow grease...one out of a 97 and one out of a 00....no cutting involved. Maybe this will save some aggrivation...
