When you buy one of those overlays off of ebay, just the film to replace yours "reverse glow" one's like that etc, what kind of material are they made of ? If you ventured out to make your own what kind of material would you be looking to acquire ?

Is there a place where you can just buy an overlay? cuz i want my cluster to glow red at night.

if ur car is pre-00 u can do it SUPER easy with LEDs, otherwise u might wanna look into Blackcatcustoms

Swap in the sunfire cluster is the easiest way to achieve that apparently.


Dan - At this point no, when I can get the materials cheaper I'm gonna exercise that as a last resort. I haven't and can't justify at this point in my life dropping $200+ just to change a few things the materials cost a fraction of what gets charged.

Anyways a matter of how to design it isn't really the issue, it's what material they're made out of so I know what to print it on.
