Rota sub zero problems.

Well I got some 17x7.5 rota sub zero's and the hub bore is to small and when I put the wheel on the center car pops off because the axle is too long.
How can I bore out the hub? What should I do about the center cap?

you will either need to go get the rotas machined or get some small spacers like i did. and for the center caps you will have to cut the spindle down. i just didnt run them at all .

Any more pics of the rota's on your car?
So you ran spacer's front and back without having the center's bored out?

Alright I will look around.
How would I cut part of the axle off without messing up the thread's?

I found these but they are pretty expensive.
Looks like they would be deep enough.

that shop is 30 mins away from me. lol i would call them and ask for the depth of the cap.. and compare it to yours. and also ask if they would fit your rota.

I had a set of Rota's hub bored by a machine shop. Just call around, you'll find a place.

if you cut the axle down with the axle nut still in place, when you run the nut off, it should clean up the threads.

I was lucky that mine have a 73mm center bore, so I used a hubcentric ring. I was never able to get the stock Rota center caps to work on the front. I have center caps from another rim that work on the SubZero's ( just cant remember what they are from )

Just run them without the center caps
