I'm putting some neon rims on my car come spring.
I am going to paint them black but I don't know what would look best, or if there's anything else I should do with them but I'm pretty handy with paint so a lot can be done.
Also I'm no gimp master but here's the mock ups.
Have a chrome lip or not? Chrome nuts too?
wow. lol. umm. i would just paint them black. or bronze. or gunmetal. all of them look good. just not with the lip silver.
Do you think gun metal would look good? It would be a lot easier than gloss black to paint. And it hides imperfections and scratches and that sorta stuff much better.
p.s. you the reason it wouldn't let me register with my sn as wojo. I was like wtf who on earth would have a sn of wojo on here. a-hole
i think gunmetal would look just fine. and FYI my last name is Wojceichowski and im not having that as my SN so. i put my nickname of Wojo. so ha. get over it. lol

lol no one has any other comments on what to do with the rims? I think I'm just going to do all black then.
bronze would look cool on black. or just murder them out, all black. (those rims look stupid with the lip left silver, i've seen it done several times, and its hideous.)

Ok. All black it is. I'm not a fan of bronze plus there is like nothing on my car that isn't black or chrome.

ive seen them with the lip silver...dosent look to good.... plus i tried to do somthing different with mine.. and i have mixed feelings on them... might just make them all black on mine
but gunmetal seems to loook good on black

I already went out and bought all the black paint. I'll put pictures up come spring.
All painted. Waiting for this last snow storm to pass then I'm giving the car a nice wash and wax. My car is going to look so sexy with the side moldings off and these rims on it. I have white 13000mcd wheel well lights to go on that I made too, once I have a chance.
edit- they look damn better when they are clean lol I had goo gone all over my hands when I was moving the set so they are all greasy and finger printy in the pic.
srts are a fair bit different and bigger.....its like me saying i have a cavalier lol....but does look good either way. i woulda went with bronze tho

I'm redoing them once it gets above -30 around here.
i kind of like the looks of that. i bought some nite shades and im trying to decide if i should tint everything but the reverse circles or tape off all circles and tint everything else.
