Whats up guys My 97 cavalier z24 wont stop vibrating on the free way. Got new tires didnt go away, got new wheels still there if not worse. What do you guys think the problem is? this is getting really frustrating. It starts from like 45mph and up. Just had an alignment, and new struts. The cars got 150k and drives straight as an arrow. Anyone got any ideas or same issues? Thanks...

try your rotors, maybe they are warped....bent axle shaft, bad wheel bearing, missing loose hardware ANYWHERE in the suspension, there are a lot of things it could be, more details about when and where and how and all that would be great.

I'd be looking at bearings, ball joints, tie rod ends, CV joints, and (maybe) even a strut mount. I'd be hard pressed to believe you bent an axle unless you hit a serious pot hole, or beat the ever living sh!t out of your car driving it.

To check the others, jack one side of your car up at a time and wiggle the wheel. If it's a bearing, ball joint, or tie rod end, you should be able to move the wheel back and forth a little bit that feels like something isn't tightened properly. If you can feel it in your steering wheel, it's definitely in the front. If you can't, it should be in the back, and the list of potential parts drops pretty much to a bearing. Chances are it's going to be in the front, though.

Hope this helps.
