wheel question

ok ok I have looked at the luist of what size wheels were on what car & know that certain wheels from certain other cars fit our J body cars...

Like the chrome 5 spokes on a pt cruiser... i think would look great on my 91 bird, & SRT4 wheels will fit too... yeah i know ya got to have the center hole machined out a milimeter or so... those would be kewl too......

but i keep seeing alot of NEW cars with wheels & those are not in the list & was wondering if any of those would fit....

like the 5 spoke wheels on a Jeep Compass, they look to be 5X100.... meaning the have a tighter smaller 5 bolt pattern compared to the other 5 lug cars & all out there...

but what i really want to know is, what about those hot looking 5 spoke chrome wheels on a Pontiac Soltice/ Saturn Sky

they look like the 5X100 pattern....

anyone know what they are or if they would fit....

cause I think those soltice wheels would look good on my sunbird also

anyone know?

thanks

Solstice and Sky are not 100mm. IIRC, they are 110mm. A lot of the newer GM cars are 5x110. No idea about the Jeep, but if you want to research if wheels will fit your car, a good resource is something like www.discounttiredirect.com. Look up wheels for the car you are trying to find out. When you get the list of wheels available, you'll see the bolt pattern listed. You'll notice a lot of them have dual bolt patterns, so look for the one with only one pattern listed.

you can prolly find wheels that will fit your car that look pretty similar if not almost identical to the solstice

and most tires sites are for aftermarket wheels, not factory wheels of other vehicles whichis what he seems to be interested in...

My point was that if there is a factory wheel your interested in, for example the Solstice, and don't know if it will fit, you can go on a website, look up wheels for a Solstice, and see what the bolt pattern is.
