I have a 2000 Sunfire SE with the stock 15" wheels. Will 205/65/15 winter tires fit on the rims/on the car?

they can fit, but why would you want them on there? generally, the idea is to go skinnier with your winter tires wile maintaining the same overall diameter.

for example, my winter tires are 185/75R14's

that works out to a width of 7.28" and an overal diameter of 24.93"

my factory are the 205/55R16's

that works out to a width of 9.07" and an overal diameter of 24.88"


your setup..

195/65R15
width = 7.67" diameter = 24.98"

205/65R15
width = 9.07" diameter = 25.49"

thats almost a half an inch taller than stock, which isnt too bad... but not tht good either.

personally, if you have the tires already, i would probably use them. if you havent bought them yet, i would find something else.
