So, you want to upgrade to 17's but you don't want to spend the money to get a good tire? Why even bother.. I thought the point of getting bigger wheels was to reduce the amount of sidewall to get better handling abilities.. cheap tires won't get you that.

I think he is ment a good value or deal on a decent set of tires. My advice would be to find a set that have good reviews, and find the best price locally. If you buy online it may be cheaper for the tires, but you wont be getting them installed from them. Installation should be included in the price of the tires.

im getting BFG or michelin tires... but i work for a tire company... lol

the BFG- G-force tires in 225/45R17s are only like 135 each. thats really good for a nice tire around here...

the michelin pilot series are like 225+ per tire. so im thinking BFG. i only need two though, i have two pirellis i got from a mercedes with 500 miles on them

go for the better mileage deal and higher speed rating. it almost always yields a better lower speed response tire
