anyone have pics of cars with 16 inch wheels other than the stock ones? ive been thinkin of either getting the toyota prius wheels or these but im not sure on 16's yet, so who has aftermarket wheels in 16's?
WHEELS!
if you are going to get after market wheels don't get 16" it will look weird. When I would AutoX I used beretta Z26 wheels (they looked like a buzz saw blade)
I have some American Eagle 16" Rims. Picked them up for only $100. Have had them on both the Sunfire & Cavalier.
Currently on the Sunfire:

if you want an aftermarket look, 17's are the minimum. if you want a stock look, go 16's.

i have 18s on my cavalier but my prelude is my daily so i went with rota subzeros in 16s, 14lbs each. 225/45 tires and a drop on tein and kyb. i think you could make 16s look great with the right combo.

wow that looks real nice! i think if i change my car back to the stock ls sport bumpers ill get the sixteens but i dont thinkthey would look good with a kitted car
^^
5th gens are 5x114.3
4th gens are 4x114.3
3rd gens are 4x100
16 x 7 with 38mm offset and 225/50/16 tires lowered on suspension technique springs, but I'm in my mid 30's and don't want a slammed car rolling on rubber bands for tires anymore.
I like those graphite 16's on the01cav
i like them..... although the guy that had the car before me hit a couple curbs

stock....for now, no big things in mind just intake....muffler....short throw shifter...clear climates........supercharger!!!(if i ever get the money lol)
here's the 16's i own. bought them off discount tire, specifically because they are similar to the 00-02 Z24 wheels that i love.
if you want a stock look, go 16's. if you want a sporty look, go 17's. if you want a tuner look, go 18 or 19.

Thats your daily driver and you park an 89 cavalier????
That seems backward... That 'lude is hot!!!
on 16's
on 18's
Personally I like the 16's better....but thats just me.
the 16's all look like they have really meaty tires (lots of sidewall), but that ^^^ looks like it's lifted to me.
if I was getting aftermarket wheels, I'd go 17's- a happy medium between 4 inches of sidewall and 10 inches of ground clearance.
LD9 F23 FTW!!
ok here is my opinion. Our cars are buiilt like freakin 4X4's, they sit way up off of the ground and have a lot of gap in the wheel wells. if you go with 16's at stock height, you need to make sure you have some rubber on them or you are going to have an enormous amount of wheel gap. and the problem with putting tires with big sidewalls on the is that it makes the rims look smaller. so if you want a sportier look WITHOUT LOWERING THE CAR get at least 17's, but if you are going to lower it then 16's are just fine. I dropped my 95 with some eibach springs, and had the 16" 95-99 Z245 wheels with a 55 series tire and it looked just fine. I actually got a lot of compliments on the way the wheels looked on there. Oh and by the way if you wanna drop your car hit me up and I can sell you those springs that I'm talkin about.
