i have a green cavalier with 17 inch silver rims and i want to sand them down and repaint them a different color. i plan on getting a carbon fiber hood, black projectors, and black tails. i want to paint them either a gunmetal/granite color or bronze. i really like the bronze but i am not sure if it would look good with the color of my car or the "black" theme that i want to go with. i dont want to much black so i just wanted some opinions on what you guys think would look good. thanks in advance.
id go black depending on the style of rim
I'd pick a color that you already have or will have so that it goes with the car, gunmetal is a pretty good universal color
i mean... i LOVE my bronze wheels and think they'd look hot on just about anything. and although they would look hot on a green car... im not sure if it would be my first choice with the "black them" as you said. Capt. Cav. is right, gunmetal is a pretty good universal color...
id vote for black or gunmetal.
BETTER YET.... get a side ("profile") shot of your are. then find a pic of the wheels you're thinkin about. finally, make a post in the Image Manip. forum and ask someone to chop the wheels onto your car. then you'll get a good idea of exactly what it should look like!!
try flat black rims to go with your black theme.sorry, i hate other colors when it comes to rims, use either chrome, gunmetal or flat black.any car would look good on black rims even white cars.paint your side mirrors black too or get a carbon fiber mirrors.it would be nice. i had my cavy repainted with torch red but i left my side mirrors black, bought also black projector headlights with angel eyes, taillight i need to replace with carbonfiber.
