Does anybody recognize these super-cheap tires?

I've been eyeing up a local classified ad that is offering new tires in the size I need (225/40R/18) for $89 CDN each, cash and carry, no returns. I'm quite tempted, honestly. I don't run my car in competition, and for the bit of cruising I do, I'm not looking for longevity or performance. I'm on Nankang NS2s at the moment after all, and they've suited me fine. I don't figure they could get much lower-end than that. The ad provides a picture of the tread pattern, and I'm just wondering if anyone run across this tire before. They look like rip-offs of the Nankangs, minus the pair of center grooves -- not the most promising start for a tire. They can't help but be cheap, for sure, but how bad could they be?

Wanli's suck if they are. It really looks like a Wanli tire.

Look like Wanli's for sure. Though I'm positive others may disagree, I absolutely love them. Great performance and tread life (as far as dirt cheap tires go).

Thanks guys. Definitely looks like they are similar to Wanli tires. Minor difference near the outside edge of the tread, based on the pictures I've found online, but probably a good comparison nonetheless.

Actually, I had a set of Falken's 205/40/17's mounted on KMC 14-spoke rims that looked JUST like those.

As a follow up, I've tried several times to respond to that ad, but never got a response. I guess they either aren't really selling them, or they don't want to deal with me for some reason.
