tire shoulder question?

ive been looking into getting some new tires. ive notice that some tires are more rounded on the shouders while others are more squared. what are the benefits and negatives of them?

the blocks are meant for cornoring stability, it says that in the discription.
i like the toyo ones better

these are only examples though, not ones i am getting. but ive read someonewhere about one being better for more straight driving and another wears more on the sides than the middle and so forth. so was wondering if anyone knew a little more about it.
