This being the first winter I have rims im just wonders what is really going to do damage to them over the winter...
snow, rock salt to melt the snow, dirty rain, dirt, dust, debris, .......
slap on steelies if ur that concerned

dirt and dust are part of driving... i was more worried about what the salt might do to the wheels.
salt will eat the finish on your wheels. throw steelies back on, unless you want to wash your wheels everytime your done driving
Mine actually made it through all the winters I drove them through without much issue. Just wash the car every week or two.
