Hello there, I've got Motegi DP10 in gloss black (18x8 with +42 offset)
Do you, guys, think these wheels should fit fine without any mods on my '03 Sunfire? Would they stick out?
Also, how wide can I can go in the rear?
I know that 225/40/18 should work well in the front, but I'd like to go wider in the rear, and I dont know how wide I could go.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
ThnX!
Oh, yeah, almost forgot, What brand of tires would you recommend?
Just one more thing: I'm lowered with Vogtland + AGX's (That should be pretty similar to Ebiach's pro-kit)
I think that should be it, sorry about that
P.S. No, I'm not on crack
i dont get why you would want to get wider tires in the rear when the car is fwd

I don't know, I just like fat tires
I'm weird like that
so you bought rims and dont know anything about them or even if they would fit?
well, the seller I bought rims from said they're supposed to fit Sunfires/ Cavaliers. I just want to hear some people's opinion before I do something stupid like going to LesSchwab get new tires on rims and BAM! Rims won't fit! lol
well they sound like they would fit. is the bolt pattern 5x100? if not then they arent going to fit.
Yeah, if the bolt pattern is correct, then the wheels fill fit.
Stick with the 225/40/18's all around. You don't want wider tires in the back because firstly, there's no point, and secondly, you won't be able to do tire rotations so you'll go through your front tires twice as quick as the rear.
If you dont know if it will fit or not, Jack your car up and slap one on real quick to see.. you dont need tires to see if it fits your lug pattern.
theres more to it then just bolt pattern too
