will a 215/35-18 tire fit on a 18x7.5 rim?
What ^he^ means is it's too small for our cars. It will fit on those wheels but you'd want a 215/45R18 for a J-Body.. Or at least a 215/40.

you lost me on that part.
a 215/45/18 is gonna be too big for 18s. 225/40/18 would be the other option for the 215/40/18
unless you mean 205/45/18
its only gonna set the speedo off not even 1 mph. that i dont care, jus wondering if its wide enough
depends on the tire. every manufacturer should have a recomended rim width that tire be installed on, they will also indicate the max and min rim width that tire be installed on. pick a tire first, then look it up because one manufacturer to the next could say something different even though its the same size.
Injection is nice but id rather be BLOWN!
The tire is going to seem like rubber bandson the rim. The overall diameter i will be small making the wheel gap look bigger. Plus the thinner the tire the harsher the ride and less protection for your rim.

i have plans for air ride, so ill need 35 series to tuck
i have seen people tuck with 225/45/18 you may just have to roll the front fenders. The rear you should be fine.

thats a big tire
i have air ride and i tuck fine w/ 225/40/18. get the right offset and you can tuck by just rolling the fenders
well my rims have a +35 offset, and i already bought the tires, they are federal
35 is a low offset for air ride. im running a 48 on a 18x7.5 with a 225/40/18. i tuck nicely and all i had to do was roll the fenders
yes it will i have that exact tire size on 18x7.5 and its ok next time i am gonna get 225/35
what about a 235/40/18 on a 18 x 7.5 with 45mm backspace on a 2000 Z24 with Tien super street coilovers, will they fit?
2000 Z24 5spd header & catback for now.
