i'm going to be getting my rims soon (thanxs to teske but that'll be another post) and i see this on ebay all the time and i remember the ole saying "u get what u pay for". but i was wondering if anyone has used these and how they are?
thanxs
i also forgot to add that i did the advanced search and pm'ed some ppl saying they had them but haven't gotten a reply yet.
My buddy has them on his VR4. He got them with a package deal when he bought his ADR rims. The seem to be okay, but then again he has AWD so he could run sh*tty azz tires and it wouldn't be all that bad. But it seems like they they hold up okay.
One of my friends had a set of Nankang tires he got from Discount Tire. I am not sure on the model. He called them Nankang "Maypops", since he replaced 3 out of 4 due to them being junk. He was not an aggressive driver by any means.
i had those on my car for a little while, but after about 100 miles of driving i seemed to get more road noise out of these than my stock tires so i had the shop change them and again they developed road noise. so imo, i didnt like them. they did offer somewhat good traction but they just wasnt what i was looking for
I have those tires. They came with a package deal with my rims. I havne't had any problems with them. Have had them on the road for maybe 6-7 months so far.
I noticed something last night when we were working on my friend's car. He got rid of the Nankangs and bought a set of Fuzions. He said he likes the Fuzions way better. The Nankangs went bald pretty quick. Don't know why I shared that.
thanxs for all the replys so far. i'll prolly just wait and save up for the the g-Force T/A KDW NT
I have had the NS-II's on my rims for atleast 2 years now and I use them for daily driving as well as AutoX and they've been perfectly fine. Never had to replace any, only rotate due to the side wall wearing down because of AutoX. I'll be replacing them with Azenis RT-615's later.
I have them as well. Had'em year ansd half and they suck(summers only/can't afford new ones yet). But I drive 100 miles a day though.
