I was looking at getting the Flik Lex rims for autocross season. They are 17x8" with a 35mm offset. I know stock is about 40 or 42 mm offset. Couple of questions.
1) Is Flik a good brand? I have never heard much about them.
2) Will the 35 mm offset look funny on the car, as in making the wheel look farther from the outside edge of the body panels?
Any help or experiences would be welcome.
Thanks.

35 will have the tire way close to sticking out in the front
id recomend 45mm
my bro has flik on his vw, no problems.

Only the front is a problem? 45 is more than stock isn't it? I haven't seen anyone with a 45 mm offset offering yet.

The lower the offset number the farther it sticks out from the hub. I've got 38mm offset with 225/50/16 and the front tires are pretty even with the outside of the fender.
