Ok guys, I want your honest opinion. I am more concerned about performance than looks, but of course, wheels add a huge difference in look. I am getting some hyper black five spoked 5Zigens, I just love those wheels. But I dont know if it would be better to get 17'' or 18'' rims, remember, performance first...........-thanks

Are you refering to performance in regards to "speed" or "handling?" If you want that happy medium between both, 17's are probably your best bet. There's definitely room for debate, though.

Yeah I want speed, but my friends and I like taking the cars to a road course. So I am definitely looking for some good handling. And I know 5Zigens will be good all around for performance cause they are so light. My friend has them on his Celica, and you can hold those wheels up with just one finger....

Well, for a road coarse light isn't always nessicarly better. For that you would need a stronger rim, and light wheels aren't always the strongest wheels. Handling i say go with 18s. I liked mine, but i am going down to 17s. But with 18s there will be a slight loss in acceleration. but they both have their pros. Gonna be your choice, do some research off of the forum.

i would go with the 17s, there is less rotating mass, should be quicker off the line than 18s
