i was looking through the gm site they have these rims for the ss cobalt, would these fit our cavs? anyone know the part #'s Thanks

I don't think so, but I'm not sure. I think they use a bigger bolt pattern than we do.
Wild Weasel is absolutely correct. I measured them today and the Cobalt 5 lug wheel pattern is larger than the Cavalier.
Thats what I thought too but a friend of mine thats works at Costcos tire center claims all his books say that they will fit. he also claims hes measured them and that they are
5x100. But again since I've never seen it in person I won't swear to it.

I measured the Cobalts at my local dealership. They were 06 models. The standard wheels are 4 luggers. The sport wheels are 5 lug 17 inch. Maybe the 05 Cobalt pattern was the same as the J-bodies, but the 06 is definitely larger.
