Okay guys and gals, I'm torn. I have been thinking about a very slight update on the car and can't decide what to do. 5Zigen came out with a new finish on their FN01R-C wheels. Black face with a polished lip. I was thinking maybe getting these wheels and then changing my graphic to add a silver outline. Both items would help brighten the car up and catch the eye better at a show. My dillemma is this... I absolutely love my current wheels. It took a lot for me to get them and I have only seen them on one other car (in bronze) in the past 2 years. The 5Zigens are a little more popular. Hell, one of my own friends and team members, Jack Brown, has them on his car. He just doesn't have the black face. So, you see, I am torn. I can leave the car as is, which is a bit more rugged and street looking. Or I can switch to a look that will make it "pop" more under the lights. Even if I went with the 5Zigens, i'm not sure I could get myself to sell my current wheels. They are an the rare side. Maybe they'd go on the 95... lol. Anyway, here is a pic of my car as it sits now and then a pic of the 5Zigens...

i'd keep the rims u got, your car is beatiful. dont change a thing its mint the way it is.
your car's tight, but if you don't keep it changing, even a lil bit throughout the years... its gonna get old (look at Mull's, for example..)
i like the new ones cuz they're not much different looking, but they have the lip. and the silver on the stripe would tie it together pretty well...
and since u show it a lot, it would be cool to make it "pop" at the shows..
i say go for it, but keep the current rims. (or give em to me)

I say keep it the way it is the rims you have now are awesome. And to if you do decide to come out to colorado to show, I atleast want to have some what of a chance against you LOL

i say keep your wheels...they look great on your car. but i feel what youre going through. its easy to get that wheel itch.. but seriously i say keep the wheels you have. they have a better lookin spoke design i think.....but to each their own.

I love simplicity and you would not be introducing a new colour to your sheme.
The silver lip would go nice with the rotors and headlights and the outlines your
thinking of doing. It'd even catch the z24 logo.
I saw go with the 5zigens. I really like the odd number of spokes better. I wouldn't do this, but other show people have. Have you thought of just redoing 1 side? Add the silver under the same sheme, and swap just the rims on that side. That way it kinda looks like two cars. Just face out the side you want to show off depending on the show.

i like how the rims on now match the car, whereas if you put on those new rims you are introducing a new color to the exterior......stick with what you already have
