I have cleaned my rims spotless and I still have a few patches of what kinda looks like oxidation on 1 rim. Is there something I can buy to take it off with??Like a spray or solvent?
The rims are less than a year old, so i think the oxidation is just from the brakes or brake dust getting stuck on there.
Help please!
The Silver J......Ridin' Clean....
go to a dealership with a wash bay....ask if they have some heavy duty degreaser or wheel acid if your desperate....shoodnt cost you anything....
theres this stuff you can get at pep boys, walmart, etc. its called orange something i forget the second part but it cleans just about anything off rims
It's oxidation from brake dust. Get Mothers or Eagle One Aluminum wheel polish and it will come right off
I do this for people in the summer for $100 CAD. Nice side thing I got going.
