Quick question couldn't find the answer doing a search. Will the 3T40 auto from a LN2 (2200 ohv) be a direct bolt up to a LD9 (2.4 OHC) engine with no issues? The car is a 95 sunfire coupe that needs a new engine and since the GT had the LD9, was hoping the 3spd would bolt up directly so all that needs to be swapped is the engine itself.
Bellhousing bolt patterns are different. You cannot mix and match transmissions and engines.
