1999 Isuzu 5 Speed Shift Cable Bushing Issues

I have an LX9 swapped1999 Cavalier with the Isuzu 5 speed transmission. I went to the dragway the other night and I kept popping the shift cable right off of the linkage on the tranny. Is there a fix or a better bushing for this? I had to race like I drive to the grocery store. It was awful. Here's a link to my run. I was racing an ecoboost Mustang.

I ended up finding a solution to this mess so if anyone wants the fix I can make it for you. I made a new bushing out of delrin and bolted it in place. Never came off again. On a bad note. I've been through 2 Isuzu transmissions now.

The Isuzu is nicknames the @!#$zu for a reason.
