Swapping engines from a wrecked 04 to my 03. The 04 is a 5 speed. I am wanting to swap it into the 03 also. I've read lenko's write up on here. I was wondering though about the bcm. I'm swapping wiring harness and all into the 03 for as much as a factory look as I can achieve. My 03 has keyless entry where the 04 doesn't. I know I can have the bcm flashed but don't want to. Is the bcm gonna have to be swapped from the 04 also. Thinking of just selling the 5 speed and buying a low mile auto.

If you don't swap it all.. you can try a re-learn. Might work. I was using an 04 Sunfire auto BCM (with keyless entry) in my 03 Cavalier manual...
