I am trying to change the tranny mount on a 97 cavalier 2.2L auto. Its the one with only one mount, not two for the tranny.
I got the 4 bolts out of the perimeter of the mount, now theres this bushing looking thing with a nut in the middle.......
cant get the damn thing out! Any other ways to remove this mount???

well i know on the 2.2 eco and the 2.4 theres one trans mount. and there are 4 15mm bolts on the trans case the bushing between them and then 4 13 mm bolts in the driverside wheel well. two behind the side liner/ brake line bracket. then the whole thing slides out as a unit.
Hey i just installed my tranny mount today
yes im being a smartass, but really i did, hooked it up to the engine also, hope to have it buttoned up by sunday
