I would like to install a 4t45e in my cavalier. I know it has been done, but I had no luck finding any real info on it. anyone know if the mounts are similar to the 4t4oe? The car was originally equipped with a 3 speed.. Please help me so I can buy a transmission this weekend.

3 speed? Meaning it was a 2.2? Info on the car would be nice. You have 2 listed in your profile, which one is it?

The 4t45e is going into the 97 cavalier. It's getting an overhaul right now. Will have a highly modded 3500 with a rear mount turbo. The car was a 2.2 OHV w/ the 3 speed. The wiring harness has been completely swapped from a 2001 n-body. I have HPT to tune with as well.

I'm looking at a 4t45e out of a 3004 grand am gt w/ a 3.29 FDR. Thinking a 3000 stall and an LSD. I just want to know what to use to mount it. If 4t40e mounts are close or do I need to get them out of the donor?
