96 sunfire problem any help appreciated

hey guys i have a 96 sunfire, 75k miles on car, original everything. the car will not move in any gear (its an auto) it start fine and runs just wont drive, there is fluid, did the trans die or could this be a stupid thing like a cable or solenoid?? any suggestions will help and any info u guys may need from me just ask (pics, etc) thanks alot everyone

We would only know as much as you dude.

What color is the fluid? Bubbly? Milky? Smell burnt? Any shavings or metallic sand looking stuff? The fluid should be redish.

Other than that, your on your own to find out if its the shift linkage or some solenoid.

if you have access to a pressure guage, id hook one of those up to your tranny and start the car. check the specs for the tranny and it'll tell u if the tranny is blown.
