So the transmission blew in my 2005 sunfire. I recently found a new transmission but the only problem is that it is out of a 2003 sunfire with 145 000K on it. I was just wondering if the transmission from the 03 sunfire would work?

So its the same size etc, because i was told it is not and i just want to make sure before i spend hundreds of dollars and figure out later on its no good
Unless ones an auto and the other is a 5 speed, they are the same.
Yeah mines and automatic and so is the 2003 that I am getting it out of.
Another thing sorry. I found a tranny from a 2003 cavalier would that work if i put it in my 2005 sunfire.
