I dont have anything high power but id be tempted to try the bully clutch or maybe one of the twin disk setups out there. I know there was talk of spec maing one and doesnt bully as well?

no clue, but thats the main reason for me asking. i also heard of pec making a twin dick, but idk when and i don't like waiting months or years for them to produce, i haven't been very fond of spec latley.

Patrick Seguin [pat@bullyclutch.com]

I've been in touch with him since they are a Canadian company and he's getting me a nice deal on a stage 4. Raven uses one in his 3800 turbo, QBE used one, and I haven't heard anything bad about them.

If you get the SPEC, only get the SPEC Stage 3+

IMO the 2+ and the 3+ are the only clutch to use, when you choose SPEC

Those prices are in Canadian, our price is a lot less. I will send you a PM of what Pat sent me about the stage 3. I don't want to post that on the forums.

I went through two spec stage 3's like they were made of wet toilet paper... and I didn't even get to race on either one of them once. I think it was less than 5000 total miles both lasted before they failed.

I can't comment on the 3+... but the 3 is junk.

I'm running a Bully stage 4 four puck that I got from Raven. Great clutch, fantastic pedal feel, and it's already outlasted both spec's. lol.

It's worth the extra price as their customer service is fantastic.

Go to Ultrarev.com and buy the Clutch masters FX400 6 puck. Ultrarev has the best price I have found and I searched for over a month.. I really like this clutch so far. It is holding great for me and drives like the stock clutch!!

Had a Spec, I liked it, but it's hit or miss it seems. Don't risk it. Try one of the new options, that Bully seems promising.

Hmm. @!#$ty.

at least they replace there @!#$.

My DSM, 02 Z, 95 Z and 00Z love(d) them. as do all of GM's LS7's (hell, all there manual trans cars) that are made.

What broke? after 120K on mine, it had 2 broken springs inside it, but still drove great, replaced it with a spec..... (mistake)......did not slip but drive ability...

lets just say there is a reason why No auto manufacture uses them OE.

I hear, if you can find a place to get it, a Borg Warner Brute Force is a strong clutch.

What clutch is BoostedEcos running? He's running 11.0's, i'd think whatever he is using would do the job for you.

i asked he is using a spec stg 3+, i had one as well but it was so @!#$ty , cameron(boostedecos) never drives his on the street, at least i dont think..

idk my luke clutch the springs went and soon after that friction material started to crack and fall apart, they threw it up as a defective material..
im starting to wonder if a carbon/kevlar friction material would be better an idea?

I went with a bully stage 3 clutch from raven...he said he wouldn't even sell the spec clutch to me, he has had that many problems with them...raven highly recommends bully...mine just came in so I need to take a trip to halifax to get it...little pricey compared to others but it is supposed to be well worth it.
