Hi all Can anyone tell me if you can use a tranny from a 2001 grand am 2.4 for my 2000 cavalier z24 2.4 I have looked at all the plugs which is the same and the bellhousing pattern is the same. If so do I have to change anything. If it won't work why not.

The only difference I can think of would be the axle lengths, but you should be able to reuse the axles and CV joints from the cavalier without any issue.

Sleeper style, they don't see it coming that way.

I would be more concerned about the tranny mount location spots. As long as those line up to your cavy then you are good.

F23 in a grand am is the same as a cavalier.

-Trailblazer SS - not so custom 6.0L - custom intake - custom tune
- (1) 2.4L on an engine stand (1) blown trans (2) good quad trans (1) eco trans = party
